2001 - With over 20 years of combined experience in energy conservation, partners Kevin Siebrecht and Peter Winograd form Alliance Energy Solutions.  Located in Oxford, the company initially focused on serving the energy conservation needs for Connecticut Light & Power’s Small Business Energy Advantage Program.
   
2002 - Alliance Energy Solutions expands throughout Connecticut and into Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
   
2003 - Matt James, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and formerly CL&P’s Sr. Program Administrator, joins Alliance Energy Solutions as a Managing Partner.  Clients now include industrial, commercial, institutional, and government customers.
   
2005 - Alliance Energy Solutions maintains its tremendous growth with expansion into New York, New Jersey, and throughout the Northeastern United States.  By the end of 2005, Alliance Energy Solutions grows into a team of more than 40 individuals.
   
2006 - Leveraging congressional legislation, Certified Energy Managers at Alliance Energy Solutions help facilitate significant tax deductions for its clients, completing over 400 energy conservation projects.
   
2007 - Alliance Energy Solutions partners nationally with Grainger to service clients throughout the United States.
   
2008 - Alliance Energy Solutions implements its "Virtual ESCO" Program with Grainger.
   

The customer base now encompasses a wide array of facilities including manufacturing, retail, commercial, industrial, government, health care, recreational, educational and municipal buildings.

Clients range in size from “mom and pop” shops to corporations such as Coca Cola, Kraft, ITW, as well as large recreational facilities such as the International Skating Center in Simsbury, Connecticut.
