In 2003 matt james, certified energy manager (CEM) and formerly CL&P’s Sr. Program Administrator, joined the organization as a managing partner. By the end of 2005 the AES organization had grown to a team of over 40 people, accessing a variety of utility and state energy programs to deliver long term value to our customers. The company recently entered the NY metropolitan and Northern New England markets.

The customer base now encompasses a wide array of facilities including manufacturing, retail, commercial, health care, recreational, educational and municipal buildings. In 2006, alliance energy solutions completed over four hundred energy conservation projects.

Clients range in size from “mom and pop” shops to corporations such as Coca Cola, Kraft, ITW, as well as large recreational facilities such as the International Skating Center in Simsbury, Connecticut.
